THANK YOU WEST VAN - WHAT A WEEKEND!

On February 13 - 15, the Canadian Snowboard Federation transformed a section of the parking lot behind the South Mall at Park Royal Shopping Centre into the LG Mountain Festival.  The 3-day festival coincided with the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup at Cypress Mountain, which will hosted the world’s best snowboarders.

Attendees were entertained for 5 hours a day, and highlights included performances by A-TRAK, Kid Sister, Team Canada DJs, the LG XOXO Fashion Show presented by Change, Powder Room Teenie Weenie Bikinis, the City Rail contest (won by Jed Anderson and Jess Kimura), Coors Light Beer Garden, Vendor Village and a Big Screen playing highlight reels from the day’s competitions at Cypress.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, the World Cup winners received their medals on the festival stage.

Over 10,000 people came out to enjoy the event and the beautiful West Vancouver weather, thank you everyone - especially LG for bringing this awesome event to West Van!  And thank you to Park Royal Shopping Centre for hosting us!
